You can thank the bees for these healthy honey recipes that naturally sweeten your day. Pin your sweet and savory favorites so you can start experimenting with all-natural honey in the kitchen!

With a unique and exquisite taste, all-natural honey is a delicious way to flavor everything from sweet breakfast treats and baked goods to savory mains and side dishes.

Containing trace amounts of vitamins and minerals, along with antioxidants {buckwheat honey has been found to contain similar amounts of antioxidants per gram as some fruits and vegetables}, honey is one of the natural sweeteners I always have stocked in my pantry.

Less is More…

As with all sweeteners, though, sweeten subtly, as honey still raises blood sugar levels and will contribute to undesired weight gain when consumed in excess. Truly, less is more when it comes to savoring the delicious flavor of these 32 healthy honey recipes!

Hi Alisa~Thanks so much for your sweet comment! I use both honey and maple syrup in my recipes, and think they are both delicious. I do work with a lot of clients with IBS, and for them honey may not be the best option because it may cause digestive discomfort, but for everyone else, it’s a delicious natural sweetener to enjoy-on moderation of course ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers!

Blake and the rest of the crew at Desert Creek put out a mighty fine product as well. Almost as good as mine (haha) from my two hives last year! He was the outgoing President of the Texas Beekeepers Association this past year when I started beekeeping and I can’t say enough good things about him and the other commercial beekeepers that help to educate us beginners.
