My nutrition philosophy is simple…
A healthy diet is built upon whole, fresh, minimally processed ingredients, with room to enjoy your favorite foods. Life’s to short not to eat the damn cookie!
Nourishment is more than getting the right balance of macro- and micronutrients! Cooking, eating and sharing meals with family and friends, celebrating your family’s heritage and traditional foods, and savoring your favorite indulgences from time-to-time are all part of your “feeling delicious” equation!
Like many of you, I’ve struggled with my health, dabbled in different diets, and have finally discovered what works for me. By listening to my body, I’ve figured out that a gluten-free, Mediterranean diet makes me feel my best. The diet that makes YOU feel your best may be different~I’m here to help you figure it all out!

I’m married to an incredible, supportive husband, aka Mr. Spicy, and consider raising my 2 children, SiSi (18), & Big Tex (17) to be kind, caring, compassionate individuals, my greatest accomplishment. If I can get them to eat a spinach salad every now and then, even better 🙂
One day when I’m retired, I’d love to live on a goat farm with Mr. Spicy. He dreams of living near a ski resort in Montana. I’m looking forward to whatever adventure awaits us!
