Confession time. While Instant Pot and Air Fryers are all the rage these days, it’s been at least 6 months since I’ve used my Instant Pot, and I don’t own an Air Fryer. But healthy sheet pan dinners are a trend I can get behind!
If you think about it, an Instant Pot still needs to be cleaned out, but a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil can be wiped down & popped right back into your kitchen cabinets. Not to mention the space Instant Pots and Air Fryers take up in your kitchen. Hello, minimalism!

What You Need to Make Healthy Sheet Pan Dinners
- Sheet Pans. I keep a variety of aluminum sheet pans in my kitchen. You’ll want to ensure you don’t overcrowd your veggies and protein, so use a larger sheet pan or multiple sheet pans as needed.
- Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil. Make clean up a cinch by lining your sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Food! A well-stocked fridge and pantry with various protein, veggies, fruit, herbs, spices, and other seasonings.
