My favorite way to eat almonds is roasted! I make my own cinnamon sugar almonds by throwing them together with an egg white, cinnamon, brown sugar, and then roasting them until they’re a nice deep brown color and super crunchy. I throw them in my oatmeal in the morning or sometimes I use them to make my own granola.

I would love to win a box of straws! They’d add some color to my kitchen and they’ll make my drinks look so fun!

shame on kirkland, they should reimburse you. I adore these straws. As much as I love my glass Strawsome straws they aren’t as portable. Loving this recipe too. I love almond extract in smoothies. Enjoy roasting almonds with rosemary and slivered almonds for texture in grains. Off to tweet this.

  22. Not entering but geez, I gaze at your photographs and wonder if I’ll ever “get it”. I’m going to copy you though! 🙂

  23. How cute are those straws?! I usually like to put a little chocolate almond milk in my morning coffee. Your recipe sounds great! I enjoy roasted almonds plain, in salads, or as a protein coating 🙂

  24. I love almonds in salads and also love them dusted with a little cinnamon and brown sugar, browned and toasted in the oven. Almond butter is also a nice treat, but can’t indulge in too often because of my niece and nephew’s severe peanut and tread but allergies.

  25. teri@managedmacros says:

“These straws are so dang cute, I really want to win a box!” 🙂 I also love almonds in the form of butter! I make almond nut butter on a regular basis…good right out of the bag too but they have to be roasted…I really don’t care for the raw, too chewy.
I LOVE YOUR DRINKS…THEY are so dang cute and so easy to make, huh?
Your give a way is a super fun idea, I love it! 🙂
