I had hoped to share this dreamy strawberry lemon tarragon sauce with you for last week’s Recipe ReDux event, “using fresh green herbs in a non-traditional way”, but somehow I never found the time to finish my post.
Sooo……
I promise to share the recipe with you today, but, first, please take a peek at my delicious new look, and, let me introduce you to the two amazingly talented women who helped me put this all together…

Strawberry Lemon Tarragon Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced fresh or frozen
- 1/2 product meyer lemon, Juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon tarragon, finely chopped fresh
Instructions
- Melt coconut oil over medium high heat in a pan. Add sliced strawberries, lemon juice, maple syrup, and tarragon, and stir ingredients together in pan until mixture thickens {about 5 minutes}. Remove sauce from pan and serve warm, or place in refrigerator to chill for serving cold.
Nutrition
Serving suggestions….
- Serve sauce warm over pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
- Try it warm or cold over plain Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream 🙂
- Stir in to cottage cheese, and sprinkle nuts on top.
- Top some {gluten-free} crackers or bread with goat cheese and strawberry sauce.
- Slather it on a grilled cheese sandwich!!!
- Oh, my…the delicious possibilities are endless!
