HAPPY THING NO. 3 | LEXIE’S HOMEMADE LEMONADE

Make some lemonade to share with friends this summer | Summer Bucket list I’ve shared my love of community before, and I feel SO lucky to live in a neighborhood where I’m friends with many of my neighbors. One of these sweet neighbors is Lexie, who comes over to our house regularly to pick ???off our tree.  She recently brought us a jug of her homemade “Lexie’s Lemonade” that she made with our lemons, and it was the PERFECT blend of sweet & sour. I love my neighbors!

HAPPY THING NO. 4 | GLUTEN-FREE CINNAMON LEMON COCONUT BLISS BALLS

Super yummy & healthy treat! Gluten Free Cinnamon Lemon Coconut Bliss Balls | Recipe is gluten free, vegan, and low FODMAP Word of warning: these Cinnamon Lemon Coconut Bliss Balls {gluten free, vegan, low FODMAP, paleo} are ever so slightly addictive. But thatโ€™s alright, because each one has just under 100 calories and only 3 grams of sugar, so you can use your own best judgement on when to indulge. Head on over to VeryWell for my recipe.

HAPPY THING NO. 5 | MR. SPICY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Happy Birthday Mr. Spicy! Last, but certainly not least, we celebrated Mr. Spicy’s birthday this week with a family dinner {SiSi helped my cook this yummy Steak Diane & made her favorite sauteed carrots and zucchini with LOTS of garlic}. We also lit the candles on an ice cream cake, sang {horribly, but joyfully} the happy birthday song, and presented the birthday boy with tickets for 2 {date night!} to see Escape to Margaritaville at the La Jolla Playhouse. Happy Birthday Mr. Spicy~We love you!!!
