Some mornings need a quick re-boot, like this super delicious, nutrient-packed apple, kale, lime, and basil green juice!
Do you ever have those mornings where there’s no energy flowing, no matter how many cups of coffee you knock back?
Mr. Spicy said it best this morning after I stumbled back into the bedroom, with 2 cups of coffee down, 2 breakfasts made, 2 lunches packed, and multiple school papers signed, with a dazed look on my face.
Did someone swap out the regular for decaf???
Maybe I can blame the rain…
Or, maybe I can blame these gluten-free Bacon Banana Pancakes with Salted Macadamia Nuts I inhaled yesterday morning at a pre-Gluten-Free Wellness Retreat planning meeting at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort…
Note to my gluten-free friends in San Diego or traveling to San Diego, I highly recommend the Park Hyatt Aviara not only lots of delicious gluten-free menu options but also because the chef and staff have been well-trained about food intolerances and food allergies and take all precautions to avoid cross-contamination. ย Of course, you should always address any dietary concerns with the chef and staff when dining out.
Or maybe, just maybe, some mornings need a little re-booting to fire up your day…
Like this super delicious fresh pressed Apple Kale Lime Basil Green Juice which was absolutely, positively, just the ticket to energize my day!
Oh, and it’s SO tasty, I think I might even get my kids to drink it.
If they were blindfolded ๐
The apple adds the perfect touch of sweetness, the basil is pure morning aromatherapy, the kale is, well kale, and super nutritious, and the lime adds a fabulous hint of tart.
