I have been in business as a nutrition coach and food blogger for over 7 years, and have experimented with many different resources, apps, and tools for food bloggers and nutrition entrepreneurs. While this list is always expanding and being updated, these are currently my favorites.

Nutrition Entrepreneur Tools
- Practice Better ~ I tried several different practice management platforms, before settling on Practice Better. The user interface is great + the price is right. - BigScoots is my current web host, and they have really great customer service!
- The Kadence Elizabeth Theme (Restored 316) is my current WordPress theme. It’s easy to set up and is highly recommended for site speed!
- WP Rocket. Highly recommended to enhance site speed.
SEO
- RankIQ ~ I use RankIQ to find low-competition high-traffic keywords. In addition, I use the writing outline feature to create highly optimized blog posts.
Wordpress Plugins
- Social Pro ~ I’ve used lots of different social media sharing buttons, but Social Pro is my current favorite!
- Vaultpress ~ I use Vaultpress to back up my website {very important!}
Recipes & Food Photography
- WP Recipe Maker Premium ~ This plug-in has lots of great SEO features, and will help your recipes be shown in Google search results.
- Plate to Pixel: Digital Food Photography & Food Styling by Helene Dujardin ~ This is my favorite food photography tutorial book.
- Unsplash I take most of the photos on my website, but sometimes I’ll use photos from Unsplash which is a great site for high-quality food and other photos.
Other Food Blogger Resources
- Food Blogger Pro ~ This is a great resource for food bloggers, especially if you want to learn how to start, grow, and monetize your blog.
Time Management, Organization, Productivity
- Todoist ~ I’ve tried so many “to-do list” apps. Todoist is by far my favorite!
- Trello. I recently discovered Trello which is a great tool for project management, collaboration, and organization.
- Google Calendar.
Social Media Management
- PlannThat ~ I love this Instagram app for analytics, researching hashtags, and planning/scheduling Instagram posts and stories.
- Buffer ~ This is another social media scheduling tool I have used. I’ve used it primarily to schedule Tweets, although you can integrate it with other social media platforms too.
E-Mail List Management
- Convert Kit ~ I used Convert Kit for several years and they provide a great email product, albeit it can get pricey when you have more subscribers. If you are just starting out though, the price is good!
- Flodesk ~ I’m now using Flodesk as I have more subscribers and love the lower cost. Plus, they have beautiful templates that make writing newsletters fun! Sign up through my affiliate link and get 50% off your first year!
