Dairy Free Mocha with Cinnamon & Almond Milk

This dairy free mocha made with almond milk and cinnamon, is a decadent, yet heart healthy treat. Sip and savor this delicious coffee drink anytime you're craving a healthy indulgence!

  • 1/2 cup coffee brewed with cinnamon {Add 1 teaspoon cinnamon to your coffee grounds before brewing}
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder {non alkalized}
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • Sweetener of choice to taste {I used 2 teaspoons erythritol to sweeten my mocha}


  • Heat almond milk on the stove top or in a microwave until hot. Pour it in to a mug or glass and stir in cocoa powder until dissolved. Add coffee to mug/glass then add almond extract and sweetener according to taste. Serve with straw if desired. Note: If drinking from straw, make sure the mocha is not TOO hot before sipping!
