Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blended and blend on high speed until well combined. Alternatively, place ingredients in a wide bottomed metal glass or other container, and bend with a hand blender until well combined. Pour in to a glass, and garnish with optional cocoa powder and slivered almonds if desired.

Notes

Frozen bananas are key to giving this a "milkshake" like consistency. I have made this with both almond milk, as well as unsweetened soy milk, but feel free to experiment with different "milks". You may also try adding in your favorite protein power for extra protein, especially if using a low protein "milk" such as almond or rice milk.
