Ancient Grains for Modern Meals Giveaway Winner and Wordless Wednesday

We have a winner!

But, first off, thank you so much to everyone who participated in my Ancient Grains Giveaway.  I really enjoyed reading all your comments about the grains you had already tried, and all the new ones you wanted to try. {Quinoa or millet anyone??? :-)}

It was also fun having you vote for which recipes I created, because about two-thirds of the time you picked recipes I probably would not have tried on my own, and they were all fantastic!

So, without further adeiu, the winner of Ancient Grains for Modern Meals is…

Karriann Graf!

Congratulations!

Kariann, who writes the blog Creative Cooking Corner: Spice It Up!, left a comment on my Simply Mad For Millet post.

Here’s what she had to say…

A millet lassi is something I’ve never had but willing to try after your post!  I’ll have to look around my pantry and see if there are any unopened ingredients I must try!  Happy Cooking!

Congratulations again Karriann!

And, for everyone else who did not win this time, I really hope you will consider purchasing Ancient Grains for Modern Meals as not only is it loaded with many healthy and delicious whole grain recipes, but Maria Speck has a marvelously entertaining writing style and you will most definitely learn a lot about the origins of different ancient grains.

And, before I go, happy “Wordless Wednesday”! {FYI-This is what happens when my daughter has a little too much free time on her hands…}
